Imperial Jin Jun Mei

from £7.00

If you think you deserve a little touch of luxury, here it is. Jin Jun Mei is relatively new black tea, developed in 2005 to try to promote black teas in China. It was produced using the same process as Lapsang Souchong, Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, but it brews beautifully sweet. This tea comes from Tong Mu village, the centre of Lapsang Souchong processing.

The special processing and super-fine leaves gives this a unique taste and strong cha qi!

Recommended brewing parameters:

Use 85-90c spring water.  Wash once with small amount of water and use that to rinse the cups.  2nd infusion keep infusion time to 10 or 15 seconds only.  Gradually increase steeping time.  This is a delicate tea, so don't use too much tea, time or heat on it!
