This is a lovely old fashioned sort of tea - it reminds me of my grandmother, Nain Thomas - who would never ever have had a Yunnan Black tea at her house, but the taste just reminds me of her, her budgie, a coal fire, and her lovely peppery gravy!
It obviously hits the spot with lots of other people too, as several of you buy this by the 500g bag!
It’s malty, reasonably strong, and has a little hint of sweetness which comes from those lovely golden tips.
