Our other Kenyan coffee is from Mug Run Coffee Roasters, and is another classic, with tasting notes of fudge, sweet lime and caramel.
The last time we had a Kenyan coffee in stock was just before we closed for the first Covid lockdown - so Spring 2020. You’ve been asking for it ever since, so we now have two of them!
Kabngetuny cooperative is located at 2000masl and is one of the first cooperatives to incorporate gender mainstreaming which has seen women with full ownership of land and are completely in charge of production and harvest which is unique in Kenya. This lot contains washed process SL28, SL34 and Ruiru11.
Interestingly, this coffee comes from the same area as two of our teas - Tinderet and Lelsa!
